Larry
Stewart
Founder, Senior Security Consultant
When Larry Stewart founded Stewart's
Security Service in 1977, he already owned a reputation as one of the
nation's leading security experts. He was the first in the region to
bring key control systems into the computer age, automating the
mathematical formulas for generating such systems to a degree previously
unseen in the industry.
When he expanded Stewart's Security Service to encompass electronic
access control and CCTV systems in addition to the mechanical aspects of
the security industry, he created a company that possessed abilities
unique among security providers. Rather than going to a client with a
single product or service to sell, Stewart's Security Service could
focus on listening to the client's needs, and designing a more complete
solution than could other security companies.
When Larry retired in 1998, he sold the company to his son, Daniel, and
longtime friend and employee David Wiant. Today, Larry continues
to be an active part of Stewart's Security, managing a limited number of
premier client accounts as well as continuing to mentor junior staff
members.
